Padem History
The association was founded in 2002, and it is both French and Luxembourgian. Its original purpose was to help the poorest children: hence the name PADEM. However, the administrators have quickly realized that they could not improve and consequently sustain the lives of children without improving the lives of their families. That is why today PADEM fosters and encourages a more holistic approach to problems. We do not fight with child labour without giving work to their parents.

padem writes project proposals and presents them to various donors: - Foundations of Business: Air France -- Foundation, ELLE Foundation - Associations or private foundations: Fondation Abbé Pierre, France Libertés Danielle Mitterrand - Local authorities: Municipalities, Regional Councils - Companies and Individuals
How do we act
frThe main areas of : padem intervention are: - Habitat : construction or renovation of housing facilities - Education : children schooling, renovating schools, Fight against child labour - Economy : vocational training, micro credit - Food security : access to water - Health : Public health campaigns, additional care, development and training of health workers - Other : legal aid to victims of discrimination and minorities, return assistance

The beneficiaries are: - First CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES - Generally any person or group of vulnerable people or people , who are deprived of their most basic rights: discriminated disabled persons, women abused raped and deprived of their liberty, adolescents married by force, untreated children with cancer, young girls from rural areas, who have no regular access to education, entire villages without water, underpaid workers, poorly housed families, children removed from school to work, farm workers, children forced to beg .. ..
